Our customizable tour takes you through some of the most scenic spots just north of San Francisco. Departing from Fisherman’s Wharf at Umbrella Alley (or upgrade for hotel pickup), your entertaining tour guide will ensure a personalized and unforgettable experience. Below are some route choices and stops you may explore during your tour.

Tour Highlights

• Start with a drive over the Golden Gate Bridge into beautiful Marin County.
• Visit Muir Woods National Monument to explore the towering redwoods. This part of the tour is self-guided, with 45 minutes to 1 hour to walk among these ancient trees.
• Stop at Muir Beach Overlook for stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. On clear days, you may even catch a glimpse of the Farallon Islands from this cliffside vantage point.
• Return to the bay and enjoy a quick stop in the charming bayside town of Sausalito.

Return to San Francisco Options:

1. Ferry Ride from Sausalito back to San Francisco for a scenic view of the bay.
2. Stay with your guide and drive back across the Golden Gate Bridge.
3. Stay in Sausalito for dining or exploration before making your own way back.

End your tour with a final stop at the Golden Gate Bridge Overlook for amazing photos before your guide returns you to Umbrella Alley.

• 4-Hour Tour: Add an extra hour for additional time in Muir Woods, extended visits at the Golden Gate Bridge or Sausalito, or a quick stop at the historic Pelican Inn near Muir Beach.

• OPTIONAL: Muir Woods National Park Admission:

  Beat the ticket line at the park and purchase adult admission tickets in advance.  $15.00 per person ages 16 and up. Age 15 and under free admission.

Start Location:

• 757 Beach Street, San Francisco, CA 94109 – Tours depart from Umbrella Alley in Fisherman’s Wharf (cross street: Hyde St). Look for the Wells Fargo ATM at the entrance to the driveway.

Know Before You Book:

• Tours are conducted in English.
• Each Jeep accommodates up to five adults. Six guests are allowed if the group includes children.
• Tours are fully refundable if canceled at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows will be charged in full.
• Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled tour time. Late arrivals or no-shows will forfeit their reservation without a refund or reschedule.
• Ages 3 and up are welcome, but child and booster seats are not provided.
• We cannot accommodate wheelchair, walker, luggage, or stroller storage on the Jeep.
