  • Start with a drive over the Golden Gate Bridge into beautiful Marin County.

Alcatraz Ferry Timing:

• If your Alcatraz ferry departs within 1 hour of the end of your city tour, we will drop you off at Pier 33 (Alcatraz Landing) 30 minutes to an hour before departure. Return transportation from Pier 33 to your hotel or other SF destination is not included. The activity ends at Pier 33

• If your Alcatraz ferry departure is more than 1 hour later, we’ll drop you off at PIER 39—a perfect spot to relax and grab a bite before walking to nearby Pier 33.

Alcatraz Tour Length:
Expect to spend 2 to 3 hours on Alcatraz Island. Return ferry from Alcatraz to Pier 33 is on your schedule.  IMPORTANT: Return transportation from Pier 33 to your hotel or other SF destination is not included. The activity ends at Pier 33

Choose a private 3-hour or 4-hour Muir Woods Tour, departing at 8:00 AM and finishing at 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM.

Alcatraz Ferry Timing:

If your Alcatraz ferry departs within 1 hour of the end of your tour, we will drop you off at Pier 33 (Alcatraz Landing) 30 minutes to an hour before departure. Return transportation from Pier 33 to your hotel or other SF destination is not included. The activity ends at Pier 33.

If your Alcatraz ferry departure is more than 1 hour later, we’ll drop you off at PIER 39—a perfect spot to relax and grab a bite before walking to nearby Pier 33.

Do we get to pick the Donut Stops?

That’s our job! We’ve had lots of fun testing out all of the city’s awesome Donut spots, and finding those quirky characters. Trust us, that’s why you came here.

Will I be satisfied with the number of donuts? 

Absolutely! Our tastings at each stop offer a diverse range of flavors and styles. Instead of full-sized donuts, our tasting sizes ensure a broader tasting experience. We prioritize diverse and unique flavors, so if you're only after a classic frosted donut, this might not be the tour for you. Dive in and discover something new! 

Do we get an itinerary/tasting list in advance?

The tasting choices and stops are revealed as part of the experience itself as it unfolds. You can explore our example flavors and the caliber of Donut Shops to get a feel for what we offer.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions? 

While our tour is tailored for a diverse tasting experience, around 80-90% of our pre-selected items are not vegetarian or gluten-free. Be aware that some choices may contain nuts, pork, and non-dairy ingredients. Due to our commitment to timely service and avoiding long queues, our donuts are pre-ordered, making individual adjustments for dietary needs challenging. If you're strictly vegetarian or gluten-free, this tour might not suit your preferences as those options are quite limited.

Where do we meet? 

Our starting point is 2860 Hyde Street, San Francisco unless you've opted for a hotel pick-up (extra charges apply).

When should we book?  Do you take last-minute bookings?

For our private tours, we suggest a minimum 1-week lead time. Bookings made with less than one week's notice will occasionally limit the available shops and tasting selections  Book early! 

Is gratuity included?

Gratuity is not included. 15%-20% or approx $20.00 per guest is customary in the tourism industry.

Can I get a refund or reschedule my ticket?

Bookings are refundable 24 hours in advance. Within 24 hours all reservations are nonrefundable and the date or time cannot be rescheduled. We have to pre-order and prepay for all the tastings. We are a small company and rebooking your reservation at the last minute will be difficult if not impossible. It is important that you purchase tickets when you’re sure you can go. 

Are there additional taxes or charges on top?

Our pricing already includes applicable taxes! No surprise “booking fees” or hidden charges.

Holiday Lights and Sites San Francisco Open-Top Jeep Tour

For two weeks only, experience San Francisco at its most festive! Join us for a magical evening as the city comes alive with holiday lights, trees, and cheerful decorations. Hop aboard our delightful electric Jeeps and soak in the holiday spirit with hot chocolate, candy canes, and fuzzy Santa hats. Plus, sing along to your favorite holiday tunes with onboard karaoke!

This 1.5-hour guided tour begins at Fisherman’s Wharf. From there, your tour guide will take you to some of San Francisco's most beautiful holiday displays.

Holiday Lights and Sites Tour Highlights:

What to Expect on the Holiday Lights and Sites Tour

San Francisco is never more magical than during the holidays! From glittering buildings to festively adorned cable cars and boats, the city sparkles during the season. Enjoy the best views from our open-top Jeeps, with highlights such as the Union Square Christmas Tree and Pier 39 Tree, all beautifully illuminated. Get into the holiday spirit with our fun guides and sing-along tunes as you sip on hot cocoa during this fully-guided adventure.

Know Before You Book:

• Tours are conducted in English.
• Tours are limited to six riders per Jeep.
• Space for a maximum of three children requiring booster or child seats. No infants or children seated in laps.
• Tours are fully refundable if canceled at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows are charged in full.
• We cannot accommodate wheelchair, walker, luggage, or stroller storage aboard the Jeep.
• Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled tour start time.
• Closed on December 25th.

Know Before You Go:

• Bring an extra layer of warm, wind-resistant clothing or rain gear, as the Jeep is open on the sides and roof.
• Please leave bulky backpacks at home. Personal items must be stored on your lap.
• Tours run in fog and light rain. If seasonal fog or rain obscures the view, the route may be altered.
• We cannot accommodate wheelchair, walker, luggage, or stroller storage aboard the Jeep.

Yes. All tours are scheduled around your ship’s timing with buffer built in.

Is this better than a cruise line excursion?

Most guests say yes. Private tours offer more flexibility, more stops, and a more personal experience than large bus tours.

Can we customize the route?

Yes. Your guide adjusts the route based on your interests, timing, weather, and traffic.

How many people fit in the Jeep?

Each Jeep can accommodate up to 6 guests. For the most comfortable experience, we recommend 4 adults plus children or teens in the rear-facing third row.

Are kids allowed?

Yes. Ages 3 and up are welcome. Child and booster seats are available upon request.

What if our ship is delayed?

We monitor cruise schedules and adjust when possible.

What should we bring?

Bring layers, sunglasses, and a camera. San Francisco weather can change quickly.

Can we bring luggage? 

Possibly, depending on your group size. Our Jeeps do not have dedicated storage space, and with 6 guests onboard, all seating space is fully used.

If your group has 2 to 4 guests, we may be able to accommodate limited luggage—please contact us in advance to discuss options.
